America’s Family Moving & Storage began in 2012 with just the two of us — my wife Lisa and me — driven by a simple goal: to provide honest, reliable moving services with a personal touch.

As the company grew, so did our dreams. In 2016, we launched another venture, Predatory Fins, and quickly realized we couldn’t manage both businesses ourselves. That’s when we turned to the people who taught us the value of hard work and integrity — my parents.

With the desire to give back for all they had done to support us, we passed the torch to my father Raul and mother Jaqueline in 2018. Since then, they’ve been the heart and soul of America’s Family Moving & Storage, proudly carrying on the family name and upholding the reputation we built together.

Today, our business remains true to its roots — family-owned, family-run, and always committed to treating your move like it’s our own.

From a Tiny Office to Competing with Giants

In 2012, we — Rod and Lisa — started America’s Family Moving & Storage from scratch, working out of a tiny office with nothing more than determination, a vision for quality, and an old truck. We didn’t have the backing of big corporations or endless resources, but what we did have was a commitment to quality over quantity and a promise to treat every move with the care it deserves.

Over time, that commitment allowed us to grow and hold our ground, competing with large moving corporations while staying true to our family values and personalized service.

Later, we opened our second company, Predatory Fins, taking an unexpected leap from moving homes to dealing with some of the rarest fish in the world. It sounds crazy, but it’s true — we became one of the most notorious fish stores globally, all while maintaining the same dedication to customer care that built our moving company.

Through it all, we are incredibly grateful that my father, Raul, stepped in to take the reins of America’s Family Moving & Storage. With his honesty, reliability, and dedication, he has kept the family name going strong, ensuring that the company we started from the ground up continues to serve families with excellence.

When he took over the company in 2018, he treated it like one of his own children. With unwavering dedication and a vision for growth, Raul expanded the business beyond what we imagined — introducing long-distance moving services and opening two thriving locations in Boca Raton and Orlando.

Raul is, without a doubt, one of the most honest men you will ever meet. To him, his word means more than the money in his pocket, and that integrity shines through in every move we complete. He believes in treating customers the right way, honoring commitments, and doing the right things even when no one is watching.

Thanks to his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to our family values, America’s Family Moving & Storage has grown into a trusted name that continues to serve customers with integrity and heart — just the way Raul has always lived his life.
